O you who believe, do not practice usury, charging doubled and redoubled (interest); but have fear of God: you may well attain your goal. 130 And guard yourselves against the fire which has been prepared for the unbelievers. 131 And obey Allah and the apostle, haply ye may be shewn mercy. 132 ۞ And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous 133 who spend in prosperity and in adversity, for those who curb their anger and those who forgive people. And Allah loves the charitable 134 And those who, when they commit an immoral act or wrong themselves, remember Allah and seek forgiveness of their sins – and who forgives sins except Allah? And those who do not purposely become stubborn regarding what they did. 135 These it is who shall have as their reward forgiveness from their Sustainer, and gardens through which running waters flow, therein to abide: and how excellent a reward for those who labour! 136 Many were the Ways of Life that have passed away before you: travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those who rejected Truth. 137 This is an exposition unto mankind and a guidance and an admonition unto the God-fearing. 138 So do not lose heart or be grieved, for you will surely prevail if you are believers. 139 If misfortune touches you, [know that] similar misfortune has touched [other] people as well; for it is by turns that We apportion unto men such days [of fortune and misfortune]: and [this] to the end that God might mark out those who have attained to faith, and choose from among you such as [with their lives] bear witness to the truth - since God does not love evildoers 140 And that He may purge those who believe and deprive the unbelievers of blessings. 141 Do you suppose that you would enter the Garden, without God knowing those among you who would strive hard for His cause and endure with fortitude? 142 And you used to wish for death before you met it; so now you see it before your eyes. 143
