Believers! Do not swallow interest, doubled and redoubled, and be mindful of Allah so that you may attain true success. 130 Fear the Fire, which is repaired for those who reject Faith: 131 And obey Allah and the Messenger; that ye may obtain mercy. 132 ۞ And vie with one another, hastening to forgiveness from your Lord, and to a garden whose breadth is as the heavens and earth, prepared for the godfearing 133 for those who spend, both in prosperity and adversity, who restrain their anger and are forgiving towards their fellow men -- God loves those who do good works. 134 (Paradise) is also for those who, when committing a sin or doing injustice to themselves, remember God and ask Him to forgive their sins. Who can forgive sins besides God? And who do not knowingly persist in their mistakes? 135 Their recompense is pardon by their Lord, and gardens with streams of running water where they will abide for ever. How fair is the recompense of those who act! 136 There have been many dispensations before you; so travel in the land and see what befell those who denied the truth. 137 This is a declaration to the people, a guidance and an admonition to the cautious. 138 So lose not heart, nor fall into despair: For ye must gain mastery if ye are true in Faith. 139 If you have been struck by some misfortune, so they (the disbelievers) too have been struck earlier with the same misfortune; these are the days in which We have allotted turns to people; and so that Allah may make known the believers and may bestow martyrdom to some of you; and Allah does not befriend the unjust. 140 so that God may purge those who believe and wipe out those who deny the truth. 141 Or deemed ye that ye would enter paradise while yet Allah knoweth not those of you who really strive, nor knoweth those (of you) who are steadfast? 142 For, indeed, you did long for death [in God's cause] before you came face to face with it; and now you have seen it with your own eyes! 143
