Believers, do not devour usury multiplied many times over. Fear God, so that you may prosper, 130 And fear the Fire, which has been prepared for the disbelievers. 131 And pay heed unto God and the Apostle, so that you might be graced with mercy. 132 ۞ And hasten to a forgiveness from your Lord and a Paradise as wide as heaven and earth, prepared for the cautious 133 who spend in the way of Allah both in plenty and hardship, who restrain their anger, and forgive others. Allah loves such good-doers." 134 And who, when they have committed an indecency or have wronged their souls, remember God and pray that their sins be forgiven, (for who but God can forgive sins?) and do not knowingly persist in their misdeeds, 135 Those - their reward is forgiveness from their Lord and gardens beneath which rivers flow [in Paradise], wherein they will abide eternally; and excellent is the reward of the [righteous] workers. 136 Dispensations have gone forth before you; go about then on the earth, and behold what wise hath been the end of the beliers! 137 This is a plain exposition for men, and a guidance and admonition for the Godfearing. 138 And do not become faint of heart, nor grieve, you will have the upper hand, if you are believers, 139 If you get hurt, certainly others have also experienced injuries. We have made people pass through the different turns of history so that God would know the true believers, have some of you bear witness to the people's deeds, {God does not love the unjust} 140 And that Allah may purge those who believe and destroy the infidels. 141 Did ye think that ye would enter Heaven without Allah testing those of you who fought hard (In His Cause) and remained steadfast? 142 And assuredly ye were wont to long for death ere ye had met it. Now ye are beholding it even while ye are looking on. 143
