In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

For the covenants (of security and safeguard enjoyed) by the Quraish, 1 (We) gave them alliances during both their travels of winter and summer. 2 So let them worship the Lord of this House, 3 who provided them with food lest they go hungry and saved them from fear. 4

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
