Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Beholdest thou him who belieth the Requital? 1 It is he who turns down the orphans 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the poor, 3 So woe to those who pray 4 Who delay their Salat (prayer) from their stated fixed times, 5 who show off (his good deeds) 6 And withhold [simple] assistance. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
