Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 Who delay their Salat (prayer) from their stated fixed times, 5 Who dissimulate 6 And withhold [simple] assistance. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
