Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Hast thou observed him who belieth religion? 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 and does not urge others to feed the needy. 3 Woe to those who pray, 4 who become confused during their prayers, 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
