Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 So woe to those that pray 4 but are heedless in their Prayers, 5 those who do good (in order) to be seen, 6 And withhold [simple] assistance. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
