Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Have you considered him who calls the judgment a lie? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 Ah, woe unto worshippers 4 Who are neglectful of their prayers, 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 And refuse Al-Ma'un (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
