Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

HAVE YOU SEEN him who denies the Day of Judgement? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 whose hearts from their prayer are remote 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 and, withal, deny all assistance [to their fellow-men]! 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
