Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 [But] who are heedless of their prayer - 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 And refuse Al-Ma'un (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
