Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Have you seen one who denies the Day of Judgement? 1 It is he who turns away the orphan 2 and does not urge others to feed the needy. 3 Ah, woe unto worshippers 4 and are heedless of their prayers, 5 those who do good (in order) to be seen, 6 And who withholds even common necessaries. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
