Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

HAVE YOU SEEN him who denies the Day of Judgement? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the needy. 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 Those who are neglectful of their prayer. 5 Those who make show [of their deeds] 6 And withhold the necessaries of life. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
