Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Beholdest thou him who belieth the Requital? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the needy. 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 And withhold the necessaries of life. 7
