Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Have you considered him who calls the judgment a lie? 1 So it is he, who pushes away the orphan, 2 and never encourages the feeding of the destitute. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 whose hearts from their prayer are remote 5 those who want only to be seen and praised, 6 And refuse Al-Ma'un (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). 7
