Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 who become confused during their prayers, 5 who show off (his good deeds) 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
