Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the poor, 3 Woe to those who pray, 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 Those who make show [of their deeds] 6 and deny people the articles of common necessity. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
