Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense? 1 It is he who pushes the orphan away, 2 And urges not the feeding of AlMiskin (the poor), 3 So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), 4 Who are neglectful of their prayers, 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
