Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the poor, 3 Woe to those who pray 4 whose hearts from their prayer are remote 5 Those who make show [of their deeds] 6 And withhold the necessaries of life. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
