Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 Who delay their Salat (prayer) from their stated fixed times, 5 Those who make a display (of their deeds). 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
