Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 And does not urge (others) to feed the poor. 3 So woe to the worshippers 4 Who are unmindful of their prayers, 5 Who do (good) to be seen, 6 And do not let others ask for small utilities. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
