Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 For that is the one who drives away the orphan 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the poor, 3 Woe, then, to those who pray, 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 Who do (good) to be seen, 6 Yet refuse small kindnesses! 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
