Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 It is he who pusheth away the orphan, 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe to the worshippers 4 but are heedless in their Prayers, 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 and refuse charity. 7
True are the words of God the Almighty.
