Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 So it is he, who pushes away the orphan, 2 and feels no urge to feed the needy. 3 So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), 4 and are heedless of their prayers, 5 those who do good (in order) to be seen, 6 And withhold the necessaries of life. 7

Almighty Allah's Truth.
