Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Beholdest thou him who belieth the Requital? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 Who are unmindful of their prayers, 5 those who want only to be seen and praised, 6 and deny people the articles of common necessity. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
