Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? 1 It is he who pusheth away the orphan, 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the needy. 3 Woe, then, to those who pray, 4 Who delay their Salat (prayer) from their stated fixed times, 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 And refuse Al-Ma'un (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). 7

Almighty God's Truth.
