Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 For that is the one who drives away the orphan 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 Woe, then, to those who pray, 4 and are heedless of their prayers, 5 who show off, 6 And withhold the necessaries of life. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
