Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Have you seen he who belied the Recompense? 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 And does not urge to feed the needy. 3 Woe, then, to those who pray, 4 but whose hearts are not in their prayer. 5 to those who make display 6 and refuse to help the needy. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
