Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Beholdest thou him who belieth the Requital? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 So woe to those that pray 4 Who are unmindful of their prayers, 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 and deny people the articles of common necessity. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
