Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? 1 Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, 2 And urges not the feeding of AlMiskin (the poor), 3 Woe, then, to those who pray, 4 Those who are neglectful of their prayer. 5 to those who make display 6 And refuse Al-Ma'un (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
