Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Beholdest thou him who belieth the Requital? 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the poor, 3 Woe to those who pray, 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 those who want only to be seen and praised, 6 Yet refuse small kindnesses! 7
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
