Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe to the praying ones, 4 Who are unmindful of their prayers, 5 They who would be seen, 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
