Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? 1 It is he who pushes the orphan away, 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 As are of their prayer careless. 5 Those who make show [of their deeds] 6 And refuse Al-Ma'un (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
