Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)? 1 Who turns away the orphan, 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 who become confused during their prayers, 5 Those who make a display (of their deeds). 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
