Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense? 1 For that is the one who drives away the orphan 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 So woe to the praying ones, 4 Who are neglectful of their prayers, 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
