Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Beholdest thou him who belieth the Requital? 1 It is he who turns down the orphans 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 but are heedless in their Prayers, 5 Who would be seen (at worship) 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
