Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Hast thou observed him who belieth religion? 1 It is he who turns away the orphan 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe to the worshippers 4 but whose hearts are not in their prayer. 5 They who would be seen, 6 and, withal, deny all assistance [to their fellow-men]! 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
