Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Beholdest thou him who belieth the Requital? 1 It is he who turns down the orphans 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 Woe, then, to those who pray, 4 [But] who are heedless of their prayer - 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 And who withholds even common necessaries. 7
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
