Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Just look at him, who belies the religion! 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 Who are neglectful of their prayers, 5 Who do (good) to be seen, 6 and prevent the utensils of assistance. 7
