Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the needy. 3 Woe to those who pray 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 And who withholds even common necessaries. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
