Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 and does not urge others to feed the needy. 3 Woe to those who pray 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 to those who make display 6 And withhold [simple] assistance. 7
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: Charity (Al-Maa'oon). Sent down in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
