Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Just look at him, who belies the religion! 1 Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, 2 and feels no urge to feed the needy. 3 Woe to those who pray 4 whose hearts from their prayer are remote 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
