Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? 1 Who turns away the orphan, 2 and never encourages the feeding of the destitute. 3 So woe to those that pray 4 but are heedless in their Prayers, 5 Who would be seen (at worship) 6 Yet refuse small kindnesses! 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
