Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 For that is the one who drives away the orphan 2 And urges not the feeding of AlMiskin (the poor), 3 Woe to the worshippers 4 and are heedless of their prayers, 5 those who do good (in order) to be seen, 6 And do not let others ask for small utilities. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
