Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 And does not urge (others) to feed the poor. 3 Ah, woe unto worshippers 4 [But] who are heedless of their prayer - 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 and, withal, deny all assistance [to their fellow-men]! 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
