Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Beholdest thou him who belieth the Requital? 1 For that is the one who drives away the orphan 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 but whose hearts are not in their prayer. 5 who show off (his good deeds) 6 and refuse charity. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
