Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? 1 For that is the one who drives away the orphan 2 and never encourages the feeding of the destitute. 3 So woe to the praying ones, 4 Who are unmindful of their prayers, 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 and deny people the articles of common necessity. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
