Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 It is he who pushes the orphan away, 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 So woe to those that pray 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 Who do (good) to be seen, 6 and refuse charity. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: Charity (Al-Maa'oon). Sent down in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
