Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Perish the two hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he! 1 His property and worldly gains will be of no help to him. 2 he shall roast at a flaming fire 3 and so too will his wife who (threw thorns and firewood in the Prophet's way). 4 [who bears] around her neck a rope of twisted strands! 5

Almighty God's Truth.
