Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Perish the hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he! 1 His wealth and what he earns will not avail him. 2 He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame 3 And his wife, the bearer of fuel, 4 upon her neck a rope of palm-fibre. 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
